"Breaking The Bar"'s title was generated during our 35th Anniversary celebration.
The term is used when a group actually consumes more then what a bar can provide. This is exactly what happened the night of Nov. 3rd 2007.
Sigma Delta's members "Broke the bar" at our reunion.
A task as monumental as this, deserved a cover as great as the feat. So, while fumbling through photos of the 35th I came across a pic of Jonah "Boner" Schneider (Alpha Omega) and was convinced it was perfect for this album cover.
Released at the Beta Upsilon Rush
in the Spring of 2008, SS 15.0 has a tremendous amount of variety on it. Compared to other albums it probably features too much country, but the same can be said for the hip hop songs as well.
Some how, some way, the songs manage to blend nicely after a spin around.
The 35th was definately the main inspiration
behind this one.
